Booper Bare Racing Welcomes American Race Tires: Will Make 2010 Season Debut This Weekend
After almost a four month delay, Rockbridge Baths, Virginia’s Booper Bare is ready and anxious to get behind the wheel of his famous Rocket Chassis/Fletcher Made Racing Engines #00 for the first time this coming weekend. Booper Bare Racing will be making its 2010 debut this Friday and Saturday which will see Booper attend the Three State Flyer races at Potomac & Winchester Speedways.
“To say the least we are starting a little later than expected” said Booper with laugh from the team’s race shop. “We had a little construction project with the farm house that had to be taken care of prior to any racing this year. Lori and I can’t thank everybody enough for their concern, help and well wishes these last couple of months. Our equipment is fresh and I’m more than ready to get behind the wheel” added the likeable veteran. “All the guys on the crew have really worked hard to get the equipment ready for this coming weekend. We have some great new sponsors on board along with some outstanding companies that have had a long relationship with Booper Bare Racing and I want to get out there and represent them the best I can”.
Long time Booper fans will have no trouble recognizing the new look that will adorn the #00, as the blue has been replaced with the Red that Booper started his career in. Also another big switch for the team will find the familiar #00 Rocket race cars equipped with American Race Tires for the 2010 season. “I’m really excited to have American Race Tires involved with our team. I tried them for one race at the end of the 2007 season and ended up winning the Fall Classic at Natural Bridge. I’m looking forward to having a long relationship with them and carrying the American Race Tires brand to victory lane” added Booper.
Booper will also start the season with new Fletcher Made Horsepower under the hood. The Bloomery, WV based company has had a storied history building power plants for such prestigious races as the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona and numerous other sports car endurance races. The Company’s new Circle Track Division has gone through extensive research & development and Booper Bare Racing is proud to be debuting in 2010 with Fletcher Made power.
