Jason Rauen Claims Fourth Win of 2010Farley, Iowa (07/21/10) – In what has been a definite year of ups and downs, Jason Rauen scored a positive by winning his fourth event of the season in his #98 Rauen Motorsports/Victory Circle M1 Chassis Late Model in a Corn Belt Clash event at Independence Motor Speedway in Independence, Iowa.
The team invaded Farley Speedway in Farley, Iowa on Tuesday night, July 13th for a Tornado Tuesday event, which posted a $10,000 to win feature. The night got off to a rough start as Jason wrecked his primary car in heat race action, while running third. As a result, he unloaded the backup car and started 20th in the feature. After starting at the back of the field, he went on to race his way to a 10th place finish.
On Wednesday night, July 14th the action moved to Independence Motor Speedway in Independence, Iowa for a Corn Belt Clash event, where 24 cars signed in for action. Jason started seventh in the main event and raced his way to the lead early in the event and never looked back en route to the feature win, which was his fourth of the season!
Jason entered the Weekly Racing Series Event on Sunday night, July 18th at Dubuque Speedway in Dubuque, Iowa. In addition to chasing the win, Rauen looked to test some setups on his car. He started 10th on the grid in the feature and got up as high as the 6th position before having to retire with an ill handling race car.
The next event for the team will be on Wednesday night at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa for an IMCA Deery Brothers Late Model event. For more information on the event, please visit
