Kyle Beard Takes Second Win of ’10; Four Crown Nationals Next

Trumann, AR (06/28/10) – Kyle Beard carried his midseason momentum into COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model battle over the weekend in his #86 GRT By Frye/Samuels Performance Racing Engine Super Late Model and came away with his second win of the year.

It was a great weekend for Beard Motorsports as Kyle returned to action with the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model tour in a pair of events. On Friday night, things got underway with a $2,000 to win, 30 lap event at Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas. Kyle won his heat race in dominating fashion to earn the JFR Graphics Pole Position for the feature event. H e was joined on the front row by Bill Frye, and Kyle would get the whole shot on Frye to take the early lead. Kyle would work the cushion the entire feature as Frye worked the lowside. T he duo battled side-by-side for the entire event before Kyle took the win by a car length at the checkered flag for his second win of the year!

On Saturday, the team traveled to Crawford County Speedway in Van Buren, Arkansas for another $2,000 to win event. Despite early evening rain, the event was held, and Kyle started 5th in the 40 lap feature. He would work his way to a third place finish behind event winner, Bill Frye, and Jeff Floyd.

Kyle continues to lead the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model standings over Bill Frye and Jon Mitchell.

The upcoming weekend will be an extremely busy time for Kyle as he prepares to resume his pursuit of the PRO Dirt Car Super Late Model Championship. He will enter the Four Crown Nationals over course of the Fourth of July weekend. The four day stretch on July 1st-4th will see him enter four events at four separate tracks as shown below:
July 1st: Greenville Speedway (Greenvlle, MS) - $2,000 To Win
July 2nd: Central Mississippi Speedway (Winona, MS) - $2,000 To Win
July 3rd: Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, MS) – $2,000 To Win
July 4th: Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, MS) - $2,000 To Win
