MARS to battle with NCRA & MLRA in Iowa and NebraskaThe MARS DIRTcar Series readies for action with the O'Reilly NCRA and the Lucas Oil MLRA for a pair of events. The three series will invade I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE on Friday July 2, 2010 and Adams County Speedway in Corning, IA on July 3, 2010. The tire rule for both races will be WRS 55 only.
Current point leader and 2009 Rookie of the Year, Eric Turner of Springfield, MO will lead the martians into battle along with five time and defending MARS DIRTcar Series champion Terry Phillips of Springfield, MO; Jeremy Payne of Springfield, MO; Brandon McCormick of Lebanon, MO; Gary Christian of Broken Bow, OK; Rylan Long of Lockwood, MO; Leroy Johnson of Springfield, MO; Kelly Boen of Henderson, CO and many more.
The I-80 Speedway is located at 14200 238th Street in Greenwood, NE 68336 or online at
www.neracewaypark.com. Admission is $20 Adults, Juniors $8 and Kids 5 and under are free. Pit gates open at 3:00pm. Main gates open at 6:00pm.
The Adams County Speedway is located at 1200 John Street in Corning, IA 50841 or online at
www.acspeedway.com. Adult admission is just $15, youth 13 thru 18 are $10 and 12 and under are free. Pit gates open at 4:00pm and grandstands open at 5:00pm.
