IMCA Late Models chase $2,500 top prize at Hamilton County’s Summer Spectacular

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (June 25) – IMCA Late Models race for $2,500 to win, a minimum of $300 to start and shares of lap money each time around the track at Hamilton County Speedway’s Tuesday, June 29 Summer Spectacular spe­cial.

National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded; $10, $6 and $4 will go to the drivers scored first through third on each of the 50 laps except the 25th; Fin­ishline Bar will pay $50, $30 and $20 to the top three on the mid­point circuit.

Local and area businesses ante up lap money. Webster City Machine Shop will give a $100 tough luck award, K & M Ag gives the $100 hard charger award and TMI Porta-Potties gives a pair of $50 awards to mystery posi­tion finishers.

Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $400 to win, with a $100 bonus from Wide Open Racing Engines going to the top finishing driver with a two barrel motor. Top prize for IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks is $300. Both classes vie for national and state points; Probe In­dustries Northern Region points are also at stake for the Hob­bies.

Entry fee for Late Models is $50. There is no entry fee for SportMods or Hobby Stocks.

Admission to the grandstand is $15 for adults, $7 for kids ages 7-13 and six and under get in free. Family passes (two adults and two kids) are $35. Pit passes are $25. More information is available by calling 515 832-5382 or 515 899-2222.
