EAMS NeSMITH CHEVROLET DLMS RACE RESCHEDULED FOR JULY 4CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series $2,500-to-win Salute To The Armed Forces 50 at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL has been rescheduled for Sunday night, July 4. The EAMS race will now be a part of the NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS Firecracker Nationals and will be the third race of a Holiday Weekend Series.
The first two events of the Firecracker Nationals will be at 441 Speedway in Dublin, GA with the $2,000-to-win Stars and Stripes 40 on Friday night, July 2, and the $2,500-to-win Salute To America 50 on Saturday night, July 3. There will be over $35,000 in prize money up for grabs over the three-race weekend.
The East Alabama Motor Speedway race on July 4 will also mark a major milestone for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series, as it is scheduled to be the 100th race for the National Tour since its inception in 2005. Series competitor Matthew Turner of Dawsonville, GA is the only driver in series history to have competed in every series event.
