COMP Cams MSRA Ignites Arkansas This Weekend

Beebe, AR (06/22/10) – With temperatures consistently topping the century mark on a daily basis in Arkansas, the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model tour looks to push the heat to the flash point this weekend as it sets the night on fire with a pair of events at Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas) and Crawford County Speedway (Van Buren, Arkansas).

On the heels of his first win of the year, Kyle Beard currently resides atop the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model standings by thirteen markers over two-time series’ champion, Joey Mack.

The lethal duo will lead a strong contingent of foes into battle this weekend including Jon Mitchell, Bill Frye, Jeff Floyd, Dewaine Hottinger, Brandon Smith, Jon Kirby, Terry Henson, Shane Stephens, Wesley Crutchfield, Charlie Cole, Jeff Sloan, Austin Rettig, and many more.

Heading into this weekend's events Brandon Smith continues to maintain the top spot in the Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year battle, but in recent events Shane Stephens has made up ground.

The action will get underway at Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas on Friday, June 25th with a $2,000 to win/$300 to start, 30 lap event. Gates open at 5pm with racing action at 8pm. On Saturday, June 26th the tour will make its debut at the northeast Arkansas ¼ mile oval at Crawford County Speedway in Van Buren, Arkansas. A $2,000 to win/$400 to start, 40 lap event is on tap as the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model tour brings its professional operation to one of Arkansas’ top tracks for the first time ever. Adult grandstand admission is $15 for adults, senior citizens (ages 62 & Up) are $12, kid’s 6-11 years of age are $5, and 5 years of age and under free.
