Thursday Night Thunder special on July 1st at the Lucas Oil Speedway

Wheatland, MO (June 17th, 2010) - Officials with Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri are pleased to announce that a special "Thursday Night Thunder" edition of the Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series has been added to the 2010 Schedule on July 1st, 2010. "With Mother Nature once again spoiling the fun the past Saturday night, we owe it to our fans, racers, suite holders, and sponsors a full season of racing," stated Track General Manager Dan Robinson. "We thought a Special Thursday night edition of racing would be a great way to kick off the Independence Day Weekend and allow us to make up at least one of the previously canceled events."

Classes in action on Thursday, July 1st will be the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks. Lucas Oil Speedway has also previously announced that Saturday, July 24th has been added to the schedule as a make-up date for one of the Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series Events.

Spectator Gates will open at 5:00pm on Thursday, July 1st with Hot Laps set to get under way at 6:30 and the first race of the night at 7:05pm. Adult Admission at the gate will be just $12 with Seniors and Active Military only $8. Juniors (6-15) will be $5 and Kids 5 and under are always FREE at Lucas Oil Speedway. Show Your AAA Membership Card at the gate and receive $3 off any Adult or Senior General Admission Ticket. Advance Tickets are available at Carson's Corner NAPA Auto Parts, the Trading Post in Carson's Corner, the Triangle Quick Shop in Galmey, or the TNT Quick Shop in Flemington.

Family Passes are priced at only $25 for the event on July 1st, which includes entry for two adults (age 16 and up) and up to three youth (ages 6-15), One Free Slick Track Go-Kart Ride, discounts on kids, meals, gift shop merchandise, and funnel cakes.

A limited number of VIP Suites are also still available and start at only $300 for a 12 guest unit which includes admission for 12, One Complimentary Food Tray off the Suite Menu, and (2) Six Packs of your choice of Water, Soda, or Beer.
