Scott James Prepares for Brownstown & Bardstown this Week(BRIGHT, INDIANA) The "Silver Shark" Scott James and the Scotty Earl Racing team invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 11-13 for the annual running of the 'Dream 100.' Unfortunately, Scott could not advance his #s44 Rocket racecar into the $100,000 to win feature event after qualifying fifty-sixth fastest on Friday night and running fourteenth in his competitive heat race on Saturday evening. His heat race finish did not allow him to advance into the rain-postponed C-Main, which was held on Sunday afternoon. Complete results from the 'Dream 100' program can be found online at

Scott and the #s44 team will look for better luck this week in a pair of events in the states of Indiana and Kentucky. The UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour will kick-off tonight, June 16 at the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. The Bright, Indiana driver will be gunning for the $5,000 top prize tonight at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds venue. Following Brownstown, the Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, Kentucky will take center stage on Saturday, June 19. The NASRA Series will roll into Bardstown on Saturday and a $3,000 winner’s check is on the line. Additional information on both races can be found online at
