Jeremy Glasgow Enjoys Best Run of Season at Columbus

Caledonia, Mississippi (06/16/10) – The first half of the season has been a time of rebuilding and testing for Jeremy Glasgow as he struggled to find the setup on his #7 Glasgow Trucking/Mastersbilt/Wall-2-Wall Racing Engine Super Late Model. However, on Saturday night at Columbus Speedway it became evident that the team’s hard work is leading them closer to victory lane.

Jeremy was in back in action over the weekend with two Weekly Racing Series Events. Friday night found the team at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama for a $1,500 to win event. Jeremy would battle throughout the top ten during the course of the event before picking up a 9th place finish.

On Saturday night, the action moved to "The Baddest Bullring in the South" Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for a Weekly Racing Series Event. With a solid field of 18 Super Late Models on hand, Jeremy qualified third fastest and pressured Rick Rickman for the lead for much of the feature before settling for a solid, second place finish.

“This is the kind of run that me and our entire team needed to build our confidence. I really feel like our first win of the year is just around the corner,” commented Glasgow.

Jeremy will take his best shot at his first win of the year this Saturday night as he travels to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi to attempt to conquer the “Black Ice” of the 1/3 mile oval in a Weekly Racing Series Event.
