Billy Moyer Looks to Continue Recent Hot Streak in Dream 100 at Eldora

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team visited victory lane for the ninth time in 2010 on Saturday night, June 5 at the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri! The Northern Allstars Late Model Series (NALMS) sanctioned all of the action at the St. Louis area venue on Saturday and a $5,000 winner's check was on the line. Billy Moyer won his heat race and later rolled off from the outside of the second row in the 40-lap main event. After battling for the top spot with Dennis Erb early in the A-Main, Billy took command on the eleventh circuit and raced to the win over Will Vaught, Billy Moyer, Jr., Dennis Erb, and Billy Faust.

Earlier in the weekend, another $5,000 to win NALMS show was held on Friday evening, June 4 at the Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky. Billy ran second in heat race action and later started the 40-lapper from the seventh spot. Unfortunately, the Batesville, Arkansas native cut down a left front tire in the A-Main and was relegated to a disappointing eighteenth place finish. Complete results from the doubleheader can be found online at www.northern-allstars.com.

"Our cars are running pretty well right now and I am excited about the upcoming Dream 100," commented Moyer earlier today. "We have run up front consistently lately and (Billy) Jr. has been right there as well. He will be making his first trip to Eldora this weekend, so this should be the ultimate test for him, but I am sure he will do just fine. We got (Denny) Hamlin rolling pretty good in the Prelude feature last night, so hopefully that is a good sign of things to come for us this weekend!"

Next up for the BMR team will be the 16th Annual 'Dream 100' weekend at the hallowed high-banks of the Eldora Speedway on Friday and Saturday, June 11-12. Qualifying at the "Big E" will take place on Friday night, while the heat races, consolation events, and the 100-lap feature event is scheduled for Saturday evening. As always, a huge crowd is expected at the Rossburg, Ohio venue for the $100,000 to win 'Dream 100.' Billy has transferred into ten Dream A-Mains in his career and of course picked up the $100,000 payday back in 1998.
