Three-Day Firecracker 100 Weekend will be Action Packed on and off the track
Post-Race Concerts, Fireworks, Ms. Firecracker Pageant, Driver/Fan Horseshoe Tournament, Hot Dog Eating Contest and more!!

Sarver, PA (June 9, 2010) The 4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com (Thursday-Friday-Saturday, June 24-25-26) is more than just a Crown Jewel Event of Dirt Late Model Racing; it’s also a total fan experience! From the drop of the first green flag on Thursday’s hot laps to the final checkered flag of the weekend at the completion of the $30,000-to-win, 100-lap Firecracker 100 Feature, the action both on and off the track will be non-stop!!!

As previously announced, the 4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com is now a three day show with three HUGE nights of World of Outlaws Late Model Series action! Thursday June 24 and Friday June 25 are full $6,000-to-win shows, complete with time trials, heat races, Last Chance Showdowns and 30-lap World of Outlaws Late Model Series Features. Saturday’s racing program will feature heat races (set by combined results of Thursday and Friday results), Last Chance Showdowns, the $3,000-to-win, 30-lap Uncle Sam 30 non-qualifiers race and the scintillating $30,000-to-win, 100-lap 4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com Feature.

But when the best Late Model drivers in the country aren’t tearing up the Action Track at Don Martin’s Lernerville Speedway, there will be a plethora of events away from the track to keep children and fans of all ages entertained and engaged in the Firecracker experience!!

After Thursdays night’s racing has come to a close, the madmen from Premier Pyrotechnics will light up the Sarver sky with a pulse-pounding fireworks display. Then the party moves to the parking lot for a rockin’ concert by the Joe Patrick Band!

The fun resumes Friday afternoon with a Hot Dog Eating Contest at 1:00 and judging for the Budweiser Best Tailgating Party and Best Camp Site contests at 3:00.

Then after the races come to a close Friday Night, another Premier Pyrotechnics fireworks display will light up the sky! And once again, the post-race party will move to the parking lot for a concert featuring the sweet sounds of Vanessa Campagna and Firecracker Favorites NoMAD!! NoMAD has rocked the Firecracker crowd every year since its inception in 2007, and they’ll have the crowd singin’ and dancin’ late in to the night again this year!

Saturday’s schedule of pre-race events is absolutely loaded!! The fun starts with breakfast being served starting at 8:00AM for the early risers.

The 4th Annual Weenie Roast and Fan/Driver Horseshoe Tournament starts at 12:00 as Chub Frank will look to defend his title, while Lynn Geisler (winner of the first two tournaments) looks to get back on top! Fans interested in participating can sign up at the Lernerville Souvenir Trailer each of the next two Friday Nights and Thursday/Friday of Firecracker weekend.

The Ms. Firecracker Pageant will hit the stage at 2:00PM as Lernerville Speedway crowns a new trophy girl. Applications are still being accepted for those interested in replacing the beautiful Mandy Golec in Sheetz Victory Lane on a weekly basis!!

As always, every driver in competition will participate in the Driver Autograph session before they take back to the track Saturday evening. The line for the driver autograph session forms at 3:30 by the pit gate, while the autograph session itself starts at 4:00 and ends promptly at 5:00.

Finally, the pits will be open after the conclusion of the Firecracker 100 Feature for fans of all ages to see their favorite cars and drivers up close and in person.
