Josh Richards Hopes to Bring Awareness to the Will Kinzer Foundation for Autism Research at Martinsville Speedway

Martinsville, Va. (June 4, 2010) - Josh Richards will race the No. 1 Will Kinzer Foundation for Autism Research Chevrolet fielded by Dave Davis Motorsports in the UNOH Performance 200 when the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East debuts at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday. While NASCAR has a lengthy history at the unique 0.526 mile track, Sunday will be the first race for the NASCAR K&N Series.

The UNOH Performance 200 will mark Richards' second outing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2010. His first race this year in the series was at Iowa Speedway where he finished 11th. Richards' paint scheme on the No. 1 Chevrolet will highlight the Will Kinzer Foundation for Autism Research, the West Virginia native hopes to bring awareness and donations to the foundation that is named in honor of a fellow racer's son.

The son of Dirt Late Model driver Brandon Kinzer, Will Kinzer is the namesake of the foundation. The Kinzer family set up the foundation to help fund research and assist families with the cost of therapy and education for children on the autism spectrum. Donations made to the Foundation provide funding to children to attend the Highlands Center for Autism in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. The Highlands Center is a year round therapy program for children on the autism spectrum, the cost per child is $60,000 per year.

Donations to the Will Kinzer Foundation for Autism Research can be sent to PO Box 162, 87 Ball Park St., Allen, KY 41601. The foundation is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization.

The UNOH Performance 200 at Martinsville Speedway begins Sunday at 3 p.m. ET. The race will be aired on Thursday, June 10 at 6 p.m. ET on SPEED.
