DSFS is ready for 2010 DART Series debut

Sioux Falls, SD - The battle begins on Saturday June 5 as AMSOIL Dirt Track Series drivers from all across WISSOTA country invade Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, SD for the first event of the 2010 DART Challenge Series. Challenge Cup X, presented by Prostorllo General Motors, will highlight the 7th annual Wheel Jam weekend at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds.

Challenge Cup X, the first of three events scheduled in South Dakota for the Dart Challenge Series this year, will mark the eighth year that the series has visited the 3/8-mile oval. Late Model drivers will embark on a 40-lap feature paying $5,000 to win and $400 to start. Non-qualifiers will receive $150.

Past Challenge Series event winners at DSFS include Pat Doar in 2001, Kent Arment in 2002 and 2004, A.J. Diemel in 2006, Jeff Wildung in 2007 and Marshall Fegers in 2008. Last year’s version was cancelled due to inclement weather.

In addition to the Late Models, WISSOTA Super Stocks will run for a $700 to win payday. Also on the card are WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds making this a must see event for race fans all across WISSOTA country.

Gates open at 6 pm with racing beginning at 7 sharp. Adult tickets are $18 at the gate. Kids 50” inches and up are $12. Kids 50” or below are free.
Pit gates open at 4 pm with draw cutoff at 6 pm. Late Model car and driver entry fee is $125. Super Stock car and driver entry is $50. Pit passes are $25.
