Hobby Stock 'Havoc' takes center stage on Saturday, June 5 at Volunteer Speedway

BULLS GAP, Tenn. — An exciting racing program is scheduled Saturday, June 15 at Volunteer Speedway. Taking center stage for their showcase event of the 2010 racing season will be Hobby Stock competitors, as they will run 35 laps in the first annual Hobby Stock "Havoc" with individual lap and other contingency awards up for grabs. The Hobby Stock "Havoc" is open to any driver that has competed in at least one race this season at "The Gap." The top 18 starting positions will be determined through qualifying.
Also racing will be the Super Late Model and Fastrak Racing Series-sanctioned Pro (Crate) Late Model divisions.

The pit gate will open Saturday, June 5 at 4 p.m. and the grandstands at 5 p.m. The drivers' meeting will be held in the backside pits at 6:30 p.m. Hotlaps are tentatively scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., to be followed by qualifying and then racing action getting the green flag around 8:30 p.m.

Adult grandstand admission will be $10, youth (ages 11-15) $5, with kids 10-and-under admitted free in the grandstands. Pit passes and backside tier-parking $25. The first 100 paid adult grandstand admissions will receive a voucher to receive one hotdog and one soft drink from the concession stand.

No coolers, outside food or drinks permitted in front straightaway grandstands!!!

Directions to Volunteer Speedway: South on Interstate 81 from Tennessee/Virginia state lines, take Exit 23 (Bulls Gap/Greeneville), then turn right onto Hwy. 11-E at bottom of the exit ramp. Look for track entrance approximately 200 yards on left.

North on Interstate 81 from I-81/I-40 split (East of Knoxville, TN), take Exit 23, then turn left onto Hwy. 11-E at bottom of the exit ramp. Continue underneath the interstate over-pass and track entrance approximately 300 yards ahead on left.
