Klint Byars To Enter Red Farmer Classic

Carrollton, Mississippi (05/12/10) – After several weeks away from the track, Klint Byars is eager to take his #5 Southern Belle/K&K Motorsports/GRT/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle this weekend, May 13th-15th, in the 1st Annual Red Farmer Classic at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama.

Weather has kept the team sidelined for several weeks, and they had hoped to return to action last Friday in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Central Mississippi Speedway in Winona, Mississippi, but mechanical issues with the team’s hauler as well as the car prevented them from competing.

This Thursday through Saturday, May 13th-15th, K&K Motorsports will travel to Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama for the 1st Annual Red Farmer Classic, which will salute the life and accomplishments of one of the founding members of the Alabama Gang. An Open Practice will be held on Thursday night with time trials and heat race action on Friday night.
