Jason Rauen Scores Top 5 at Jackson; Triple Header This Weekend

Farley, Iowa (05/11/10) – After losing Friday’s scheduled, Corn Belt Clash event at Farley Speedway to Mother Nature, Jason Rauen entered a Weekly Racing Series Event on Friday night at Jackson County Speedway, and he came away with a top five finish for his efforts.

The team was in action with their #98 Rauen Precision Machinery/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer on Friday night at Jackson County Speedway in Maquoketa, Iowa in a Weekly Racing Series Event as eighteen cars entered the event. In heat race action, Rauen drew the last starting spot and was passing for the third position, when a car spun into him, causing his right rear to go flat, resulting in a last place finish. After starting 17th in the feature, Jason would charge to a 5th place finish on a racing surface, where passing became difficult late in the event.

This weekend Jason plans to enter three events. On Thursday night, May 13th he will be in action in a $2,000 to win, Corn Belt Clash event at Cresco Speedway in Cresco, Iowa. On Friday, May 14th the team will travel to Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wisconsin for another $2,000 to win, Corn Belt Clash event.
