Tony Knowles Wins Third Event of 2010; North Georgia Up Next

Tyrone, Georgia (05/06/10) – Tony Knowles powered his #26 RSD Enterprises/SAE Parts/Rocket/Custom Racing Engine Super Late Model to the feature win on Saturday night at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia.

Tony entered a pair of events over the weekend. On Friday, April 30th the team was in action at Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama in a Weekly Racing Series Event. With twenty-two Super Late Models on hand, Knowles tried a new setup that just didn't seem to work, and he would ultimately retire from the feature.

On Saturday, May 1st Tony entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia, where he would find his luck much better. After setting fast time, Knowles set on the pole for the feature event and went on to lead the entire feature to take the win, which was his third of the year!

This Saturday TKR Motorsports will invade North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia on Saturday for a $5,000 to win, 50 lap event, which will be sanctioned by the Southern All Stars Super Late Model Series. Tony won a feature event at North Georgia a few weeks ago and came within a few hundredths of the track record in time trials. He will look to carry his momentum into this Saturday’s event.
