"Fast" Eddie Provence Digs Out Of Storm Damage, Ready To Race

(East End, Arkansas) "Fast" Eddie Provence is planning on racing his Red, Black, and White #F28 Team GRT Super Late Model powered by Proven Power Racing Engines in this weekend's Comp Cams MSRA Super Late Model Series double header at Sterlington, Louisiana's USA Raceway on Friday night, and Texarkana Arkansas 67 Speedway on Saturday night.

Friday night's event is $300 to start, $2,000 to win, while Saturday night's event is $400 to start, and $2,000 to win.

Provence was slated to race in last weekend's MSRA double header as well, but the events were both rained out, and multiple tornadoes hit his hometown, to include his neighborhood.

"This week has been rough." said Provence. "We had all of the tornadoes that came through last weekend, and we have been digging out, cutting tree's, and helping our neighbors who have been in need. We got lucky and our house was not damaged other than some light roof damage, but we lost some tree's, and our neighbors mobile home was scattered across our yard. We just feel fortunate to have made it out, and are ready to get back on the track."
