FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 28th, 2010

Sammy Stile and Dane Laraway open 2010 racing season at Dog Hollow Speedway

Sammy Stile and Dane Laraway, of Laraway Motorsports, opened their 2010 racing season on April 23, 2010 at Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, PA.  Outfitted with the new engine package that was developed over the winter, Sammy won the heat race after starting in the third spot.  This was the first time that Sammy had piloted his 2010 Rocket Chassis and he was impressed with the new car.  Dane started eighth in the same heat race as Sammy and finished fourth.  Dane is driving the same Rocket Chassis that he drove in the 2009 season.  Both drivers were impressed with the smoothness of the power delivery from the engine through the drive line.

The feature lineup positioned Sammy on the outside pole and Dane in the twelfth position.  Sammy struggled with a brake issue, but managed to finished second in the feature, while Dane made his way through the field to catch up to the front three cars that had pulled away from the remainder of the field.  Dane finished fourth just as he had closed in on the back bumper of the top three.  The front four cars finished almost a straightaway ahead of the field.  The video of the twenty lap event will be posted on LarawayMotorsports.com next week.

Mother Nature took the checkers on Saturday night at Marion Center Speedway in Marion Center, PA.

This week Laraway Motorsports will return to Dog Hollow Speedway and Marion Center Speedway to continue their pursuit of the Coal Country Championship points title.
