CHATSWORTH, GA (April 26, 2010) – Defending and current National All Star Racing Association points leader Aaron Ridley looks to extend his lead as the series makes its first visit to the Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz promoted Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY.
The event had been scheduled for this past Friday April 23, but was postponed due to early morning rain showers and prediction of more inclement weather throughout that day and will now take place this Friday April 30.
The event will feature a full program of practice, time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 40 lap, $3,000 to win 11th Annual Hugh “Junebug” Rowland Memorial A-Main.
Ridley’s most recent visit to Ponderosa Speedway was on April 9 where he feel just shy of a top five, coming home with a sixth place finish during an unsanctioned weekly racing series event.
Ridley currently leads the National All Star Racing Association Championship Point Standings by 87 points over Winfield, TN native Skylar Marlar heading into the 11th Annual Hugh “Junebug” Rowland Memorial Friday Night at Ponderosa Speedway.
Saturday Night Ridley will venture south to the Brandon Hardgrove promoted Lake Cumberland Speedway for an unsanctioned weekly racing series event.
