Scott James Prepares for Bardstown on Saturday, Weather Permitting

(BRIGHT, INDIANA)  Scott James debuted his new TMCI Transportation / Gerstner & Sons Plumbing / DPL Consulting Services #83 Rocket / Dargie racecar over the April 16-17 weekend in the states of Illinois and Ohio! On Friday night at the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, a $3,000 top prize was up for grabs in a NASRA / Monster Midwest Series co-sanctioned event. Scott suffered some "new car blues" during heat race action at the St. Louis area venue and scratched for the rest of the evening.

The newly-formed #83 team then trekked to the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Saturday for a $2,000 to win American Late Model Series (ALMS) show. Scott ran third in his heat race at the "Big E," which placed him starting eighth in the feature event. Unfortunately, more problems struck the "Silver Shark" during the A-Main and he wound up finishing in the eighteenth position. Complete results from both venues can be found online at www.tricityspeedway.net and www.eldoraspeedway.com.

Scott will jump back behind the wheel of the Scotty Earl Racing #s44 entry this Saturday night, April 24.  The Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, Kentucky will play host to a $3,000 to win NASRA Series show on Saturday.

Additional information on the one-day event at the 1/2-mile, central Kentucky speedplant can be obtained at www.bluegrass-speedway.com.

Major supporters of Scott’s new #83 ride include:  TMCI Transportation, Gerstner & Sons Plumbing, Thomas Trucking – Norwood, Ohio, DPL Consulting Services, Jerry’s Truck & Diesel, AFCO Racing Products, VP Racing Fuels, Rocket Chassis, and Dargie Race Engines.  Keep up with the “Silver Shark” Scott James all year long by accessing his official home on the Internet located at www.scottjamesmotorsports.com.
