R.J. Conley Wins Again at K-C; Looks for Third Straight Triumph this Saturday!

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Wheelersburg, Ohio native R.J. Conley racked up his second victory of the 2010 racing season in as many starts on Saturday night, April 17 at the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio! R.J. laid down the quickest lap during qualifying at the 1/3-mile southern Ohio venue and later ran fourth in the dash. After starting from the outside of the second row in the 25-lap main event, R.J. inherited the lead when polesitter Donnie Moran went pitside around the lap ten mark. The driver of the American Metal Supply Company #71c Rocket racecar then kept the rest of the field behind him to secure his second K-C triumph and the $1,500 top prize over Kenny Christy, Audie Swartz, Jason Montgomery, and Greggie Oliver.

Delmas and Rod Conley were also in action at K-C last Saturday night and finished just outside of the top five. Rod won his heat race and later finished sixth in the 25-lap feature event. Delmas, the patriarch of the racing Conley clan, ran second in heat race action before guiding his legendary #71 to a seventh place performance in the A-Main. "My Rocket car is working really well right now," understated R.J. Conley this week over the telephone. "I can drive the car good and straight and that is key with the slick track conditions at K-C. We have one more week of trying to learn some things before the Dirt Track World Cup Classic weekend when the bigger money is up for grabs. Hopefully, we can keep things rolling and go three-for-three this upcoming weekend!"

All three Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers plan to be back in action at the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio this Saturday evening, April 24. Another $1,500 winner's check is on the line on Saturday at the south-central Ohio speedplant. This race will be the final tune-up before the two-day 'Dirt Track World Cup Classic,' which will be held at K-C on April 30 and May 1. Additional information can be obtained online at www.kc-raceway.com.
