Top 10 Deery Series drivers earn awards from Flow Design
HOME, Kan. (April 20) – Flow Design rewards Deery Series Summer Series drivers for a third consecutive season in 2010.
Top five finishers in the tour for IMCA Late Models receive carburetor spacers from the Home, Kan., manufacturer. Sixth through 10th place finishers receive product certificates good for 50 percent off the purchase of a carb spacer.
Nine different drivers have earned carb spacers and 17 different drivers have received one or both Flow Designs awards in the first two years of the program.
"Providing the combination of product giveaways and discounts toward purchase is the definition of a solid contingency program, and Flow Design does that not only at the end of the season but for events like the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals,” said Kevin Yoder, marketing director for IMCA. “We are pleased to have them back on board and supporting our Late Model racers again in 2010."
Flow Design has manufactured the spacer required for the division since 2007 and also makes spacers for IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Southwest Racing Specialties Southern SportMods.
Information about Flow Design-made products is available by calling 785 799-3790.
Ray Guss Jr. of Milan, Ill., is the series point leader after five events. Mark Burgtorf of Quincy, Ill., won three of those races and is four points out of a tie for first.
Seventy-eight different drivers have competed in one or more Deery races this season. The series resumes May 18 at Marshalltown Speedway.
