Chad Thrash Conquers JMS Field For First Win of 2010Meridian, Mississippi (04/20/10) – Chad Thrash has been close to victory lane several times early in 2001, and on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi he sealed the deal in his #1c Tomkat of Chunky/Rocket/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model by claiming the win over a loaded field of competitors.
Thrash Motorsports made the last minute decision to enter the Weekly Racing Series Event on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi. A great field of 27 Super Late Models signed in for battle, and Chad started the night by qualifying 3rd fastest in time trials. With his strong performance in qualifying, Thrash locked into the third starting spot for the pole-sitter's dash. He would go on to finish second in the dash to Jimmy Cliburn to earn the second starting spot for the main event. Chad would bolt to the lead early in the event and never looked back en route to his first win of the year!
This weekend, Chad is unsure of where he will be racing, so stay tuned to
