Scott James Debuts New Ride this Weekend at Granite City and Eldora!

(BRIGHT, INDIANA)  The Scotty Earl Racing team and Scott James once again hooked up on Saturday night, April 10 at the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. Scott drove the #s44 Rocket racecar to a second place finish in his heat race and had his sights set on his first feature win of 2010. Unfortunately, Scott suffered terminal motor problems in the $2,000 to win main event - shortly after taking the lead - that relegated him to a disappointing eighteenth place effort. You can view complete results from the Florence Speedway by logging onto www.florencespeedway.com.

After nearly a month of subbing in for the Scotty Earl Racing team, Scott will debut his new ride this upcoming weekend (April 16-17) in the states of Illinois and Ohio!  Scott and his cousin Danny Lucas of DPL Consulting Services have been busy for the past several months putting the pieces together for their new team.  They will debut on Friday night at the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois and on Saturday evening at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.  A $3,000 top prize is up for grabs at Granite City, while the Eldora lid lifter pays $2,000 to the winner.  Additional information concerning these races can be found online at www.tricityspeedway.net and www.eldoraspeedway.com.

“I am very excited about the new team that Danny (Lucas) and I have put together,” stated James earlier today.  “We tested the new car last night at Granite City and it was fast right out of the box.  I have to thank TMCI Transportation, Gerstner & Sons Plumbing, Mark Thomas, my cousin Danny, and everyone that has contributed to this new race team.  I also have to thank Scotty Earl and his team for allowing me to drive their equipment in recent weeks and I look forward to working with them again in the future!”

Major supporters of Scott’s new #83 ride include:  TMCI Transportation, Gerstner & Sons Plumbing, Thomas Trucking – Norwood, Ohio, DPL Consulting Services, Jerry’s Truck & Diesel, AFCO Racing Products, VP Racing Fuels, Rocket Chassis, and Dargie Race Engines.  Keep up with the “Silver Shark” Scott James all year long by accessing his official home on the Internet located at www.scottjamesmotorsports.com.
