Anthony Burroughs Claims SRRS Checkers at Thunderhill; GVS Up Next

Muscle Shoals, Alabama (04/13/10) –Anthony Burroughs piloted his #121 ALT Transportation/Mastersbilt By Stuckey/Wall-2-Wall Racing Engine Super Late Model to the $3,000 victory on Saturday night at Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, Tennessee.

Anthony returned to action on Saturday night, April 13th at Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, Tennessee with the Southern Regional Racing Series. With 30 Super Late Models entered into the event, Burroughs set fast time in his group and second fast time overall to earn the outside front row starting spot for the main event. He would go on to power his way to the $3,000 feature win over Ray Cook and Jacob Grizzle. The win marked his second triumph of the 2010 season. This weekend will once again find the team in action with the Southern Regional Racing Series as they travel to Dennis Harker’s Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama for a pair of shows. On Friday night, a 30 lap, $2,000 to win/$200 to start event will be held, on Saturday night a $3,000 to win/$300 to start, 40 lap program is on tap.
