Tazewell Speedway kicks of 2010 season with NASRABy Michael Moats – MRM Racing Media Services
Tazewell, Tennessee – The 2010 season at Tazewell Speedway gets underway Saturday, April 10 with C.J. Rayburn's National All-Star Racing Association. The 50-lap, $3,000 to win Charles Trammell Memorial will pit the drivers of the NASRA versus some of the best of East Tennessee. Aaron Ridley leads the NASRA point standings heading into Tazewell. Victor Lee, Mike Marlar, and David Webb are some of the regional drivers expected at Tazewell Speedway. Local favorites such as Rick Rogers, Billy Ogle Jr., and Vic Hill will try to keep the $3,000 in East Tennessee.
Also racing will be the limited late models, modified streets, pure streets, and 4 cylinders.
Pit gates open at 4:00, grandstand gates open at 5:00, and racing starts at 7:00. Grandstand admission is $16 for adults, kids 10 and under are free. Pit passes are $30.
Tazewell Speedway is located just two miles northwest of Tazewell, Tennessee. Going north on US 25-E, turn right and then left onto Bacchus Rd, and then 1.8 miles north, then .8 miles west and the race track is located on the left.
