Springfield Raceway March Madness scheduled for April 3rd has been cancelled Springfield, Mo.-Due to several Scheduling conflicts, the March Madness Event that was to be ran on Sat April 3rd has been cancelled and will not be made-up according to Springfield Raceway Officials.
"Early season Special events are very touchy due to weather, and even with a rain date listed when our schedule came out, it just isn't in the cards for this race.” quoted co-owner Jerry Hoffman.
The Raceway will hold a special Thursday Night April 1st practice session from 5-8PM that night. Pit passes will be $20 per person while Grandstand Admission will be Free. This practice is open to any type of racecar.
The Raceway will hold another Open Practice on Sat April 10th with time to Be Determined.
The Speedway will begin it's 2010 season on Sat April 17th with action featuring the Budweiser A-Mods, The GM Performance Sport Mods, Street Stocks, Legends, The Newley formed Midwest Modz(Economods) and the Pure stocks.
General Admission on the Regular shows are Adults $10,kids 6-12 $5 and 5 and under Free.
Early season starting time is tentatively scheduled to start Racing at 6PM.
