Integra introduces unique Late Model, Deery awards with new IMCA contingency program COOPERSVILLE, Mich. (March 26) – Late Model drivers chasing national and Deery Brothers Summer Series points are in the hunt for awards from new IMCA sponsor Integra Racing Shocks.
Drivers with the top two combined national and series point totals receive $350 product certificates. Third and fourth places in the combined standings are good for $250 certificates and fifth and sixth place finishers both earn $150 certificates.
Certificates will be mailed after the Deery Series concludes and national point standings become official in September.
Integra also awards $350, $250 and $150 certificates to the top three drivers in each of the five IMCA Modified regions, and to top three finishers in national point standings for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Southwest Racing Specialties Southern SportMods.
Those prizes will be stamped and sent in October.
“The Deery Series is extremely successful and IMCA’s Late Model division speaks for itself. They’re the top of the line,” said Integra’s Ed Bertram. “We have had a personal involvement with Modifieds because a lot of our dealers build them for IMCA. I think the SportMods are classes that will help racing survive because they’re so economical.”
In addition to competing with four Integra-made shocks and springs, all drivers must display two Integra decals on their race car and return a sign-up for to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1.
Founded in 2003, Integra is a division of Keyser Port City Racing. Engineering and nearly all of the manufacturing is done in house at the company’s Coopersville, Mich., facility.
Port City Racing and Keyser Manufacturing offer a large selection of manufactured parts such as ‘A’ frames and birdcages, as well as major product lines in the 2010 Port City Racing catalog. Information about those products is available by calling 800 472-2462 and on the company website, accessible at
www.portcityracing.com“This is a good program for the four divisions and a good partnership for Integra and IMCA,” Bertram said. “I’ve gone to the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals for the last three years to support drivers using our shocks and springs. We may be on Manufacturers’ Row as well as in the pits at Boone this year.”
In addition to shocks and springs, Integra’s wide dirt track product line includes rod ends and extensions, and aluminum tanks for power steering and rear end filler tanks.
Information about those products is available by calling 800 472-2464 and on the company website, accessible at

"Working with Integra this year was a logical choice based on the number of drivers in each of these divisions participating with their products,” said Kevin Yoder, marketing director for IMCA. “We are always looking to give drivers more options on our contingency sign up programs and the partnership with Integra does exactly that.”
“Also, the combination of Deery Brothers Summer Series and Late Model national points is a unique concept and one that will reward the most loyal IMCA supporters in 2010," he continued.
