Jason Covert Ready to Open Season at Williams Grove Speedway

York Haven, PA (March, 2010) Barry Klinedinst Motorsports and the three time Mid-Atlantic Championship Series (MACS) Champion Jason Covert have been busy preparing for the 2010 racing season, a season that will kick off this Friday, March 26 at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA.

The BK Motorsports Team has diligently been working on a whole new shock program featuring JRI Shocks out of Mooresville, NC for the 2010 season, something Covert is extremely excited about. ‘This was an opportunity for us to do something new,’ Covert said. ‘Going with JRI Shocks has been a pretty easy transition so far. Sammy Speaks from Precision Suspension has been great to work with during this move and the shocks were great when we practiced at Hagerstown last week. They have a different feel to them and it’s going to take a little adjusting on my part as a driver, but I don’t think we’ll miss a beat with the new JRI Shocks.’

BK Motorsports would also like to welcome Trick as a new product sponsor for the upcoming season. ‘I can’t say it enough, without our sponsors and our product sponsors, none of us racers could do what we love to do.’ Jason continued, ‘From Rocket Chassis, Quarter Master, Pre-Mach, Inc., Red Wing Shoes, Jason at JNJ Motorsports Media, Robbie Allen Enterprises, American Racer Tires, and everyone else that helps us out, it’s just an honor to be associated with them all and we thank all of them for their support.’

Covert also has brand new T-Shirts on sale for the 2010 season. Two different designs by KRS Graphics are available for this year. A white T-Shirt that features the classic yellow #43A and some of the major wins and championships Jason has won in his career and a new black ‘Covert Operation Tour’ T-Shirt. #43A License Plates and Decals are also available. You can pick up your Jason Covert apparel at the BK Motorsports hauler at any event they attend or online through Jason’s wife Jaynelle via e-mail at jaynellecovert@hotmail.com.

This upcoming Friday, March 26 Jason will be in action at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA. Next weekend the team will head to Virginia Motor Speedway for an open practice session before making their way back Williams Grove on Friday, April 9 and Hagerstown Speedway on Saturday, April 10 for a pair of Three State Flyer events. Then it’s back to Jamaica, VA’s Virginia Motor Speedway for the much anticipated, $25,000 to-win ‘Commonwealth 100’ sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Late Model Series on Friday and Saturday, April 16 and 17. The team will then prepare for a pair of $10,000 to-win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events at Bedford Speedway in Bedford, PA and Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, MD on Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24. The team will then help open up the O’Reilly All Star Late Model Series season with a trip to Lernerville Speedway for the $5,000 to-win ‘Showdown in Sarvertown’ on Friday, April 30 and KC Raceway in Chillicothe, OH for the ‘Classic’ paying $10,000 to the winner.
