Scott James Teams Up with Scotty Earl for Start of 2010 Season!

(BRIGHT, INDIANA)  Following a long off-season and an amicable split with car owner Ron Powell, Scott James is scheduled to open up his 2010 racing season this Saturday night, March 20 in the Commonwealth of Kentucky!  The venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky will play host to the annual running of the ‘Spring 50’ on Saturday and a $5,000 top prize is up for grabs in the one-day, unsanctioned show.  Scott will pilot a #44 Rocket entry, owned by Scotty Earl, for the ‘Spring 50’ and several other early season dates until the finishing touches are completed on his own program.

The “Silver Shark” has one previous victory in this event, as he reached victory lane in the 50-lapper back in 2007.  You can learn more about the Cincinnati area facility by pointing your web browser to www.florencespeedway.com.

After the ‘Spring 50’ at Florence this weekend, Scott and the #44 team will turn their focus to the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana.  The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the ‘Indiana Icebreaker’ at the historic Jackson County Fairgrounds oval on Saturday, March 27.  The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand to tape the side-by-side action in the $10,000 to win event for broadcast later in the year.
