Lucas Oil Speedway offers New Text Messaging Plan for 2010

Wheatland, MO (March 15th, 2010)- Lucas Oil Speedway announced today the launch of a new text messaging service that will deliver the latest news, race status, and event information from the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" directly to cell phones and mobile devices. "We have greatly expanded our use of Social Media and of our highly successful email service as we prepare to kick off the 2010 racing season. This is the next step in our efforts to make full use of this type of medium and give our fans additional outlets for information." said Dan Robinson, Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager. "We want our fans to have easy access to information that concerns Lucas Oil Speedway, wherever they may be, and this new service makes it even easier to reach people as they are on the go."

By sending a text message with the keyword "lucasoil" to 313131, fans of Lucas Oil Speedway can sign up to receive the latest information via text message including upcoming events, weather status, and even special text only trivia contests in 2010. Fans and Drivers alike can also sign up for this new service at www.LucasOilSpeedway.com by filling in their name and mobile number on the appropriate form. Drivers can receive special driver only information concerning rules, points, or general race info. Information can be displayed on any type of cell phone or PDA. The service is free to use, although standard carrier charges may apply.

The first Special Event of the 2010 Racing Season at Lucas Oil Speedway gets underway on Saturday April 10th as the Lucas Oil MLRA and the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds blast into the speedway for an early season special.


"TNT Quick Shop" Signs on as Late Model Title Sponsor for 2010

Wheatland, MO (March 17th, 2010)- Lucas Oil Speedway Officials are pleased to announce that TNT Quick Shop has signed on as the ULMA Late Model Class Title Sponsor for 2010. The newly branded "TNT Quick Shop Late Models" are scheduled to make their first appearance of the season on Saturday, April 17th. "It is my pleasure to welcome Chip and his entire group as they increase their presence here at the Speedway, Chip is not only a great race car driver in our Factory Stock class but is a smart businessman and we couldn't be happier to have the TNT Quick Shop join the ULMA Late Models this season." stated Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson.

The "TNT Quick Shop Late Models" will once again run under the ULMA Sanctioning banner in 2010 at Lucas Oil Speedway as part of the "Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series." Lucas Oil Speedway previously announced that the ULMA Late Models would be competing for $700 to win in 2010 with an additional $200 going to the highest finisher running a GM Crate Engine. There are currently Fifteen (15) TNT Quick Shop Late Model races scheduled this season at the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" beginning April 17th and concluding on September 4th, 2010. The Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks will also be competing weekly along with TNT Quick Shop Late Models. The TNT Quick Shop is the newest of three convenience stores owned and operated by the Chip Shaddox and family located near scenic Lake Pomme De Terre. The TNT Quick Shop is located just south of Lucas Oil Speedway at the intersection of Mo. Hwy 83 and County Road RB.
