TALLADEGA SHORT TRACK PUSHES SEASON OPENER BACK TO SUNDAY

Eastaboga, AL (March 12, 2010) – Due to the wet grounds, Talladega Short Track officials are forced to push back the 33rd Anniversary Season Opener event from Saturday Night to Sunday Afternoon March 14th.

Track officials are busy pumping the water off the saturated grounds, and an extra day is needed to get the parking lot and pit area in good shape.

The gates on Sunday will open at 1PM with the mandatory drivers meeting scheduled for 3PM.  Hot Laps will then take place at 3:30PM with racing getting underway at 4:30PM.
