The 28th Annual Sunoco North/South 100 is coming!

We are rapidly approaching our biggest race of the year, the 28th Annual Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil. On August 12th-14th the eyes of the racing world turn to Florence Speedway as we host one of the Crown Jewels of the Dirt Late Model season. This has become one the top races in the country as the biggest names in the sport come to compete to be the North/South 100 champion. This year, Sunoco Race Fuels has come on board, along with Lucas Oil Products, to join Florence Speedway in presenting the $50,000 top prize and impressive $2,500 to start. Anticipation for this event is always high, and this year is no exception. Advance tickets and reserved seats are already on sale and the prime seats are selling quickly. There are a couple policy and seating changes for this year's event that you will want to be aware of. New in 2010, all frontstretch grandstand seats(sections A-J) will be reserved. In the past, rows 1-10 in those sections were open seating, but due to many requests, rows 1-20 will now all be reserved seating. The reserved seating on the backstretch(sections Q-Z) remains the same as years past with rows 1-10 being open seating, and rows 11 and up being reserved.

Another change for 2010 is that due to insurance policy changes and popular demand, neither coolers nor any kind of chairs or cushions with seat backs will be allowed in any grandstand areas. This includes all open and reserved seating. The open seating sections fill up quickly, so the the only way to guarantee yourself a seat for this race is to purchase your seats in advance. As an incentive to get you to purchase your tickets early, advance two day passes are available at a discounted price till July 31st. After that date, including the day of the race, tickets and seats will be available at full price. To order tickets and reserved seats(or check on seat availability), call the track office at (859)493-0034. Mastercard, Visa and Discover cards are accepted for ticket purchases. For more North/South 100 information including the seating chart, format, times and prices go to the North/South 100 page HERE.
