Casebolt Racing Ready for Upcoming Southern Swing

RICHMOND, IN (December 30, 2009) - Steve Casebolt and new car owner Bob Harris of Preferred Sandblasting and Painting of Shelbyville, TN are anxiously awaiting first race together. The team will take their Dixie Chopper Lawn Mowers sponsored machine to Volunteer Speedway on Saturday night and Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on Sunday.

"This will be the first chance that Bob will have to see his car race so I am excited about that", said Steve from his shop on Tuesday afternoon. "The new team that we have formed had just a mediocre start to the season at Eastbay Raceway in February, so we are looking forward to getting back to some more normal racing and getting the season going".

New car owner Bob Harris had to undergo surgery shortly before Eastbay and had to stay home to recover. The team currently sits in the 13th position in Lucas Oil National Points and looks forward to heading to some tracks where they run well. "Typically Eastybay isn't one of my better tracks, we are excited to get to go to some tracks where we run better at and get back up near the top of the points," said Steve.

Casebolt Racing has ran well at Cherokee and Volunteer Speedways in the past so the team is looking forward to heading south. After leaving Florida Steve qualified for 6 of the 8 races that they attended. However, the team didn't compete the way that they wanted to and have been working hard and regrouping after the subpar Florida trip.
