The 2010 Lernerville Speedway Preseason is almost here; Awards Banquet next Saturday, Mall Shows following weekends

Sarver, PA (February 22, 2010) There is light at the end of the tunnel! After the snowiest month on record, the Lernerville Speedway is looking forward to spring and 2010 preseason is finally upon us with the Annual Awards Banquet, Mall Car Shows and Test & Tune Tech Day in the coming four weekends!

In a longstanding tradition, the Lernerville Speedway will thaw out from a long, cold offseason by popping the cork at the Annual Awards Banquet next Saturday Night (February 27) at the Days Inn in Butler, PA. In addition to the perennial acknowledgment of the most recent Track Champions, Budweiser Top Ten in each division of Fab Four Racing and a variety of Lernerville Speedway Awards, Don Gamble will induct the 2010 Class of the Lernerville Speedway Hall of Fame, the All Star Late Model Series will recognize their top ten, and Walt Wimer will be on hand to give out his #1 Cochran Cavalcade Awards and announce the 2009 Western PA Rookie of the Year Award.

The two following weekends will see race cars in area malls as the Lernerville Speedway heads first to Clearview Mall in Butler, PA (March 4-6), then to the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills on Route 28(March 11-13). Area drivers and crews have been working tirelessly preparing for the 2010 season and are anxious to roll out their new cars for the fans to see!

Make your sponsor proud by displaying their name where loyal race fans can see it!! Call the speedway office (724) 353-1511 to register for a spot in either show, heck why not register for both shows?!?!?!

Then, after three weekends indoors, the cars will finally hit the Action Track for the first time on Saturday March 20 for the Test & Tune Tech Day. Drivers of Fab Four Racing are invited to have their 2010 mounts cleared for inspection before Opening Night and shake them down on the track with rotating hot laps for all drivers and divisions. Fans are invited to take advantage of FREE grandstand admission and get their butts in bleacher shape for the 2010 season!

The preseason gives way to the official start of the 2010 season on Opening Night, Friday March 26! All divisions of Fab Four Racing will be on the card for a full night of racing. As always, Opening Night will be a non-points event, allowing everyone to shake the rust off before the 2010 Budweiser Track Championship Chase begins!!
