FORECAST OF WINTER WEATHER CANCELS NeSMITH CHEVROLET DLMS WHYNOT RACE

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Whynot Motorsports Park officials have been forced to cancel this weekend’s Winter Bash for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour that was scheduled for Friday and Saturday.  The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Meridian, MS area and has forecast one to three inches of snow on Friday.

In the coming weeks, Whynot Motorsports Park and NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series officials will look at schedules and attempt to come up with another make-up date for the two-day with a 60-lap $3,000-to-win main event.  The race has already been postponed once this season, as it was originally scheduled for January 15 and 16, but was rained out.

The next three events for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will be at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL with a trio of 50-lap events.  There will be a pair of $2,500-to-win races on February 18 and 19, and a $3,000-to-win event on February 20.
