SALT ROCK, West Virginia (April 21) - Eddie Carrier Jr. continues to make strides with his racing program, and over the weekend he piloted the Grover Motorsports #28 Optima Batteries/Rocket/Grover Racing Engine Super Late Model to a pair of top-five-finishes.

Eddie Carrier Jr. returned to action on Friday night, traveling to Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) to compete in an Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Series event. Drawing 28 cars, Eddie captured a heat race win, securing his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Placing 5th in the A-Main, Carrier trailed Devin Moran, Duane Chamberlain, Dustin Linville, and R.J. Conley across the finish line.

The following night brought Carrier Jr. to Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) for the Zimmer’s United Late Model Series (ULMS) sanctioned event. In a field of 29 cars, Eddie earned the pole position for the feature after scoring a heat race victory. With $5,080 on the line in the feature, Eddie Carrier Jr. battled at the front of the field throughout the event before registering a 3rd-place finish behind race winner, Tim Dohm and Jared Hawkins with Mike Benedum and Kyle Thomas completing the top five.

“We are really starting to make some strides with new Rocket XR-1,” said Carrier Jr. “We are starting to get close to where we need to be, and I just want to thank my team and my sponsors for their great support.”
