Conley Motorsports, Inc. Busy Over Labor Day Weekend; Readies for Eldora & Atomic

WHEELERSBURG, OH (September 10) - Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) started their Labor Day holiday weekend on Thursday, September 3 at 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky. In the $4,000 to win, rain-postponed Spring Nationals show from back in April, R.J. Conley finished sixth in the 40-lapper, while Rod Conley and J.T. Conley were placed twelfth and thirteenth respectively in the final rundown. At 201 in the regularly scheduled Southern Nationals Bonus Series event, which paid $3,000 to the winner, R.J. ran a strong third behind only victor Jackie Boggs and runner-up Dustin Linville. "Hot Rod" was not far behind in the fifth spot, while J.T. wound up being paid for fifteenth at the pay window.

On Saturday evening, September 5, the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio greeted the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the annual running of the 'Pepsi 50 River Days Rumble.' Delmas, Rod, and R.J. Conley were all able to transfer into the 50-lap main event, which boasted a $10,000 top prize. Rod advanced past nine competitors to finish eleventh, while R.J. was twentieth and Delmas was twenty-fourth. Complete results from both venues can be accessed online at www.southernnationalsseries.com and www.lucasdirt.com.

R.J. Conley and his #71c team are now focused on the upcoming 45th Annual 'World 100' on September 10-12 at the hallowed high banks of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The three-day crown jewel spectacular will start with a pair of Twin 25s on both Thursday and Friday, with $5,000 earmarked for the winner of each 25-lapper. Saturday's portion of the program will once again feature heat races, consolation events, and the 'World 100.' A total of $318,850 will be available for "The Biggest Dirt Race in the World™," with $48,000 going to the winner of the 100-lap extravaganza.

Delmas and Rod Conley will also be in action this upcoming weekend, but at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. Both CMI drivers will vie for the $2,000 payday in the weekly Super Late Model program on Saturday evening.
