Ricky Weiss Wins 18th Feature of 2015

HEADINGLY, Manitoba, Canada (August 12) – Ricky Weiss parked his Derrick’s Sandblasting #7 Bloomquist Chassis/Pro Power Racing Engine Late Model in victory lane for the 18th time in 2015 over the weekend.
Ricky Weiss made the trip to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Friday night, piloting his Derrick's Sandblasting #7 Bloomquist/Pro Power Racing Super Late Model. With fourteen entries competing in the event, Ricky captured a heat race win, setting him up for the feature event. The 8th starting Weiss charged through the field in the finale to score his 18th victory of the season with Dustin Strand, Brad Seng, Joey Pederson, and Steve Anderson completing the top five.
“We had to pass some really good cars to get this win, so it makes it that much sweeter,” commented Weiss. “I always love racing at River Cities because the fans and racers are awesome.”

Ricky now looks ahead to another busy weekend, which will open on Thursday evening at Red River Co-Op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada). Friday evening will take the team to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota). On Saturday evening Ricky will tentatively compete at Estevan Motor Speedway (Estevan, Saskatchewan) with the Northern Thunder Dirt Late Models.
