Brandon Kinzer Drives to Ninth in WOOLMS Visit to Ponderosa Speedway

ALLEN, KY (May 14) - The Kinzer Motorsports team invaded the legendary Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky on Friday night, May 8 for the first-ever visit by the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. A stellar 40 car field converged on the 3/8-mile speedplant and all eyes were fixated on the $10,000 winner's check. Brandon Kinzer started off his evening by posting the sixth fastest lap in Group A during the qualifying session.

After slipping to fifth in his heat race, Brandon earned the second transfer spot through his consolation race to gain access into the 50-lap headliner. BK then drew a caution early in the race, but then proceeded to drive up through the talented field. At the checkers, the Allen, Kentucky standout found himself in the ninth finishing position. Brandon and his #18 team will enjoy the upcoming May 15-16 weekend away from the racetrack before returning to action on Friday night, May 22. The Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals tour will roll into Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia next Friday and a $4,000 payday will be on the line.
