Chad Stapleton Conquers Twin Cities for First Win of 2015

EDINBURGH, Indiana (April 7) – Chad Stapleton parked his Stapleton Motorsports #32 Right Way Construction/Club 29/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model in victory lane for the first time in 2015 with a triumph at Twin Cities Raceway Park on Saturday night.

With the 39th Annual Spring 50 at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) falling victim to Mother Nature, Chad Stapleton made the trip to Twin Cities Raceway Park (North Vernon, Indiana) for a Weekly Racing Series program on Saturday evening.

Stapleton drew the fourth starting spot for his heat race and went on to claim the win, locking him into the pole position for the feature. Chad ran second for much of the race before taking the lead in the closing laps and going on to score his first victory of the season. The checkered flag fell just in time as the team found a tire to be flat in victory lane. Tory Collins finished second followed by Tom Collini, Mike Bechelli, and Allen Waltermeyer rounding out the top five finishers.

“We’ve had more than our fair share of bad luck at Twin Cities, so to sneak by with that tire going down… we’ll take it,” said a relieved Stapleton after the victory. “Thanks to my crew and sponsors for helping us put this car in victory lane.
