Conley Motorsports, Inc. Locked and Loaded for "Big E" Following River Days Rumble

WHEELERSBURG, OH (September 4) - Conley Motorsports, Inc. made the short tow to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday, August 30 for the annual running of the 'Pepsi 50 River Days Rumble.'  The single-day spectacular at PRP drew a strong field of competitors for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series program, which boasted a $10,000 payday.  Rod Conley wound up with the best finish of the Conley clan, as he ran fourth in his heat race prior to picking off three competitors during the 50-lapper en route to a respectable twelfth place showing.

R.J. Conley finished third in his heat race before ultimately dropping back to seventeenth in the final rundown of the 'Pepsi 50 River Days Rumble' due to overheating woes.  Delmas Conley, who won last week's regular show at Portsmouth, ran sixth in his heat race, third in his B-Main, and twentieth in the headliner.  J.T. Conley unfortunately missed out on the feature event after placing sixth in his loaded heat race and fifth in his B-Main.  Full results from Portsmouth Raceway Park can be obtained by logging onto www.lucasdirt.com.

All four Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers - Delmas, Rod, R.J., and J.T. Conley - will be among the over 100 entrants this upcoming weekend for the 'World 100.'  The hallowed Eldora Speedway will once again be the epicenter of the Dirt Late Model universe on September 4-6, as the 44th annual running of the "Granddaddy of Them All" will take place at the Rossburg, Ohio facility.  On Thursday and Friday, a pair of 25-lap preliminary main events will take place both nights, each of which will pay $5,000 to the winner.

When Saturday rolls around at the "Big E," the stakes will be much higher, as six heat races and consolation events will set the stage for the 100-lap grind.  The winner of the 44th Annual 'World 100' will not only receive the hefty $47,000 payday, but also the famed globe trophy.  The elder Conley's have fifteen 'World 100' main event starts between them, while J.T. will be looking to make his first starting grid this weekend.  Additional information concerning Eldora Speedway can be accessed online at www.eldoraspeedway.com.
