Delmas Conley Continues Amazing Career with $3,000 Win at Southern Ohio Speedway

WHEELERSBURG, OH (July 2) - Delmas Conley claimed his second feature win of the 2014 campaign on Friday night, June 27 at the nearby Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio! After clicking off the second fastest lap during qualifying, Delmas scored the win in the dash to earn the pole position for the unsanctioned main event. The Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer then led flag-to-flag during the 30-lap headliner to cash the $3,000 top prize! Rod Conley was also up front at SOS last Friday, as he crossed underneath the checkers fourth behind only his father Delmas Conley, Jackie Boggs, and Kenny Howell.

On Saturday evening, June 28, all four Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers converged on Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio for a regular weekly Super Late Model showdown. Delmas nearly picked up another win at PRP, but settled for a close runner-up behind only victor Ben Adkins. R.J. Conley fought brake issues throughout the entire $2,000 to win feature event and wound up third in the final finishing order. Rod was credited with a sixth place effort in the A-Main, while J.T. Conley suffered overheating problems and retired in the sixteenth position.
