The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series once again presided over the two-day showdown, which drew 44 entrants to "The Mag" to vie for the hefty $20,000 top prize. In front of the television cameras of the Lucas Oil Production Studios, the Brasstown, North Carolina native was able to move forward in the 'Clash at the Mag' - despite suffering a flat tire - and eventually netted a fourteenth place performance in the extra-distance affair.
