Billy Moyer Set to Debut New Moyer Xtreme by Longhorn at Tucson and El Paso

BATESVILLE, AR (January 8) - Inaugural 2013 National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) Champion Billy Moyer and his famed #21 race team are scheduled to kick off their 2014 campaign in the upcoming weeks in the states of Arizona and Texas. The NDRL will preside over the six-race ‘Winter Extreme’ at the Tucson International Raceway in Tucson, Arizona from January 11-19. A $3,000 top prize will be on the line on January 11, 15, and 17, while a $5,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs on January 12 and 18. The ‘Winter Extreme’ finale at TIR on Sunday, January 19 boasts a $10,000 payday.

Following their yearly trip to picturesque Tucson, the Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team will travel with the NDRL gang to the El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, Texas. The inaugural ‘Battle at the Border’ will feature three separate programs from January 24-26. Friday’s opener at El Paso will pay $3,000 to win, while Saturday and Sunday’s showdowns will both be headlined by $5,000 winning purses. All nine NDRL races in Arizona and Texas will be non-points events. When the dirt-slinging action fires up at Tucson this weekend, Billy will debut his new Moyer Xtreme by Longhorn racecar – a car that impressed during a recent test session at the Arizona Speedway, which is located on the grounds of the Et Motopark in Queen Creek, Arizona. Billy has been extremely lethal in recent years at Tucson International Raceway, as he has racked up ten feature wins since 2010 including one triumph last season!
