Rick Eckert Reaches Winchester Victory Lane; WOOLMS Triple Shot Next

YORK, PENN (May 22) - Rick Eckert, of York, Pennsylvania, reached victory lane for the first time in 2013 on Saturday night, May 18 at the Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Virginia!  Aboard Paul Crowl's #7 entry, Rick won his heat race in preliminary action to earn the pole position for the unsanctioned feature event.  Rick then led all thirty circuits of the A-Main on his way to the dominating $2,000 win over Dale Hollidge, Tommy Armel, Roy Deese, Jr., and Keith Jackson.  Complete results from Winchester can be accessed by clicking on www.winchestervaspeedway.com.

The popular driver known as Scrub will be back behind the wheel of his familiar #24 over the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend, as he is set to tackle a trio of World of Outlaws Late Model Series showdowns in the states of Ohio and West Virginia.  The Buckeye 50 will kick things off on Friday, May 24 at the Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio.  A $10,000 top prize will be on the line in a 50-lapper at WCS.

On Saturday and Sunday, May 25-26, the dirt-slinging action will shift to the Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia for the Jackpot 100.  This years version of the race will feature two complete shows.  A $6,000 winners share is up for grabs in a 30-lap affair on Saturday, while Sundays 70-lap finale will pay a hefty $15,000 to the winner.  Rick comes into the WOOLMS tripleheader fourth in the latest national series point standings.  Additional information on the programs at Wayne County and Tyler County can be viewed by logging onto www.woolms.com.
