Conley Motorsports, Inc. in Action During World Finals; Rod Conley Preps for 201

WHEELERSBURG, OH (November 7) - Brothers Rod and R.J. Conley both traveled to the immaculate Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina on November 1-3 for the 'PEAK Motor Oil World of Outlaws World Finals.'  The pair of $10,000 to win programs attracted 72 of the finest Dirt Late Model drivers from around the country.  On Thursday night during the two-round World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying session, R.J. posted the 27th quickest lap for Friday's event and the 8th quickest circuit for Saturday's showdown.  Rod, on the other hand, was 47th and 38th fastest respectively in his two qualifying laps.

When the action really heated up on Friday night, R.J. wound up eleventh in his heat race and ninth in his B-Main, while Rod finished tenth in his heat race and seventh in his B-Main.  Unfortunately, neither driver was able to advance into the 50-lap main event.  On Saturday evening in front of the SPEED Channel cameras, R.J. ran second in his loaded heat race to earn the outside fourth row starting spot in the 50-lap A-Main.  Unfortunately, the Wheelersburg, Ohio ace retired from the 'World Finals' finale after only sixteen circuits and wound up twenty-eighth in the final rundown.  "Hot Rod" missed out on the $10,000 to win feature after finishing fifth in his heat race and eighth in his B-Main.  Full results from the action-packed weekend at Charlotte can be viewed online at www.worldofoutlaws.com.

While R.J. Conley has decided that his #71c operation is now done for the year, Rod Conley will continue his 2012 journey this Saturday, November 10 in the rain-postponed ‘Halloween 50’ at the 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky.  A $3,000 top prize will be on the line this weekend in the unsanctioned event at the newly-reopened facility.  Additional information on the 50-lapper can be obtained by accessing the track’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/201Speedway.

The respective #71 teams would like to thank the following companies for their support this season:  American Metal Supply Company, Conley Trucking, Cornett Building Supply, Vinyl Kraft Windows, Mortgage One Financial Group, Brown Services, Rocket Chassis, Draime Racing Engines, Impact Racing Decals, Schoenfeld Headers, Snap-On Racing, Hoosier Racing Tires, Wrisco, Allstar Performance, Design 500, Bazell Race Fuels, Poske's Performance Parts, Mason Racin', Arizona Sport Shirts, Delph Communications, and Weld Racing Wheels.
