Eddie Carrier Jr. Launches New Website; Scores $12k Win in Southern 100

Salt Rock, West Virginia (06/21/12) – Salt Rock, West Virginia's Eddie Carrier Jr. is the latest edition to the MSRMafia.com Team and has launched a new website at www.EddieCarrierJr.com .

Eddie, who is 41-years-old, pilots the #28 Grover Motorsports/Engines Inc./Rocket/Grover Racing Engine Super Late Model, and is known by the nickname "The Salt Rock Express." Career achievements for the personable driver include a triumph in the 2007 edition of the Hillbilly 100 at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) as well as the 2006 World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model Rookie of the Year honor. He was also the 2002 Battle of the Bluegrass (BoB) Super Late Model tour champion.

Despite getting a late start to the year due to surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon, Eddie is off to a blistering start this season. He already has collected six feature wins including two wins last Friday during the Southern 100 at Southern Ohio Speedway (Wheelersburg, Ohio). He began his night by winning the $2,000-to-win, preliminary feature, and then backed it up by leading almost every lap in the $10,000-to-win, 50 lap finale to claim the win over Steve Francis, Greggie Oliver, Jackie Boggs, and Zack Dohm. The upcoming weekend will see the team entering a single event as they travel to Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) for the 24th Annual Earl Hill Memorial on Saturday, June 23rd.
